2013-10-12 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by John Bryant, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- Three ranks have been added to the original stoplist: 8' Diapason to the Great, 8' Diapason to the Choir and 16' Tuba to the Pedal; the Tuba is from the original Wangerin organ of the Chapel. No changes have been made to the Skinner pipework or chests. A new digital multiplex switching and combination action system has replaced the original electrical systems. -Database Manager
2025-03-12 - While the chapel's organ was indeed originally a Wangerin, the present instrument is a Bradford restoration and enlargement of E.M. Skinner Opus 621. This is noted in the "Related Instrument Entries" section...in fact the only stop retained from the Wangerin was its 16' Trombone. Email from Ronald Damholt, 2025-03-11 -Paul R. Marchesano
The organ has been provided with two consoles, one in the rear gallery and one near the chancel. The rear gallery console shell is original to Skinner Opus 621; the second console shell was also by EM Skinner. Both have been fitted with Syndyne drawknobs, Hesco Skinner-style engraving and Peterson electronics (including recording and playback capacity).
