Notes

2013-11-07 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information from this web site: http://www.savetheorgan.org/kbase/radiostations/#WGR. -- Organ originally Wurlitzer opus 1118 installed at the Rialto Theatre, Lockport New York. In 1943 rebuilt it as Wurlitzer opus 2238 for radio station WGR. It is significant as the last pipe organ to leave the Wurlitzer factory. Relocated to Transfiguration R.C. Church without its percussions in 1947. The church closed in the 1990's and the organ reportedly removed to storage. -Database Manager
