A new organ built by the Pomplitz & Co., of Baltimore, was tested by Prof. R. J. Winterbotham, and found to meet all requirements. It is a two manual organ, with 27 stops and is operated by water power. Messers. W. R. Passano and Charles Kaiser, Jr., sang Faure-s 'Crucifixus,' and several selections were rendered by the St.Pius Choir, led by Mr. J. H. Stoddardt. Among those present were Rev. Fathers Chandelie, Holden, Broderick, McKenzie, Jordan, Duggan, Devine, Cunningham, Malloy, Didler and Dougnerty." -Database Manager
