2013-12-07 - This entry describes alterations to an existing organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen's The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History, p. 648. -- In 1929 Wurlitzer was hired to enlarge their opus 1001, a Style H Special. A new three manual console replaced the original two manual console and 3 additional ranks were added. The organ was reportedly removed from the studio around 1960 and subsequently water damaged and its remaining parts dispersed. The following ranks comprised the instrument after 1929: Open Diapason, Tibia Clausa I, Tibia Clausa II, Lieblich Flute, Concert Flute, Violin, Violin Celeste, Gamba, Dulciana, Quintadena, Orchestral Oboe, Oboe Horn, Tuba Horn, Clarinet, Musette, Vox Humana, Kinura.
