Notes

2014-02-20 - New console for the existing organ. Identified by Jakeb Silva, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- This organ was originally installed in the church's sanctuary at 222 N Fulton St, Wharton, TX in 1927. The organ was moved from that location in 1972 to the church's present location. However when the move occurred the organ was disassembled moved to the present location and reassembled thus, nothing was done to update the instrument nor was any releathering done. The church kept the organ tuned regularly until the leather in the instrument began to crack causing more problems than the church could afford. So the organ was played for the last time in service in the spring of 2011 and has sat silent ever since. -Database Manager
