Notes

2014-02-24 - This is a rebuild of an existing organ. Identified by Thom Thomas, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- The organ was originally built in Edinburgh, Scotland most likely for Fingass Castle. It was moved to a church in Halkirk in the 1930s. The instrument was vandalized in the 1970s and most of the pipework was smashed. It was then shipped to the U.S. in 1996. <br>Thom Thomas purchased the organ at auction in Concord, N.H.and commissioned Jeremy Cooper to restore the chest and fabricate a new reservoir and missing action parts. The vandalized pipes were replaced with ones from 19th century New England organs. -Database Manager
