2014-02-28 - This entry describes alterations to an existing organ. Identified by Joe O'Donnell, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- History provided by Lanny Hochhalter: Moved in 1966 from First Lutheran of Oakland, California to the Wedel residence of San Anselmo, California by Tom Walters, who added a Swell division of new Möller pipes and mechanical components by "less expensive" suppliers. Sold to First Methodist of Klamath Falls in 1986; installation completed in September of that year by Hochhalter. Original Möller installed without its case in Great chamber - its shades were used to provide additional expression for the Swell.<br>Bond provided five new registers, exchanged two others between divisions and updated the switching system and combination action to solid-state. The rebuilt instrument was dedicated on June 16,2013. -Database Manager
