Notes

2014-05-22 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Rodney J. Weed, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- This parish was combined with St. Peter's in 2000 and is now known as Trinity. The organ blower no longer works and the church has no intention of fixing this organ and now uses a small electronic in the front of the Church. The actual Wangerin organ in the Gallery with the exception of several of the ivories having come off several of the keys in the middle of the Great manual, appears to be in good condition and if the blower worked might still be quite playable. -Database Manager

2014-05-24 - Updated through online information from Rodney J. Weed. -- The organ served the church from its installation in 1925 to Christmas of 1992. At that time the blower went out and in 1993 the church purchased an Allen digital organ and placed it in the front of the church. The organ has not been playable since the end of 1992 and apparently the church has no intention of having it repaired. The organ is in a very nice stand-alone case with both Great and Swell under separate expression. The facade pipes are nicely stenciled and if the only problem is the need for a new blower it is a shame the organ has not been repaired. There are a lot of the ivories off of the Great manual. -Database Manager

Since the organ blower failed in December 1992 and has never been repaired or replaced, it was not possible
to play the organ and verify that each stop was an independent rank. If the organ has any unification or
duplexing there may be fewer than 18 ranks and 970 pipes.
