2014-06-13 - Originally installed in 1923; rebuild and some tonal changes in 1954 to 3/38; facade replaced with a screen in 1964, Antiphonal and Fanfare Trumpet added; the Antiphonal was located in three open arches in the left transept, opening into an adjacent auditorium; the powerful horizontal Fanfare Trumpet was quickly moved from the rear wall to the main organ; in 1976, the organ was renovated and new Great and Pedal divisions were moved to the right and left of the choirloft, respectively; in 1982 a metal screen replaced the 1964 cloth screen; in 1989, the 1923 console was rebuilt again; the organ and most of the church buildings were destroyed by fire on January 8, 2002. -Database Manager
