Notes

2014-08-15 - From The Organ (March 1894): The Combination Action is of novel construction, there being two rows of piston knobs placed in parallel lines over the swell keys, two pistons to each stop; the name of the stop is engraved on an ivory table placed between the upper and lower piston; and by means of these pistons any stop upon the manual can be made to operate on any combination pedal, together with any pedal stop that may be required. In operating the combination pedal these pistons are moved inward or outward, as the case may be, showing what stops are on and those which are off (the combinations being double acting). The registers themselves are in no way affected, so that any combinations which may have been prepared previously by means of the registers are not disturbed. -Database Manager

2014-06-23 - An original installation. Identified by Jim Lewis, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- According to the Ursuline Academy (that used the building from 1946-1966) the organ was destroyed when a new owner took over the house in 1966. -Database Manager
