2014-07-05 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, using information found in Zimmer promotional booklet. -- The organ was free-standing and encased at the front of the room. The 3-sectional facade had 15 pipes arranged: 5-5-5. While the organ is a unified instrument, the unification is within each manual division with no cross-over resources between the manual divisions. Only the Pedal borrows stops from both manual divisions while also having one independent register of its own. Cost of the organ was $63,000.00. The congregation sold the property in 1997 and relocated to a new worship facility on Bradley St. Photos on the church website seem to indicate that the organ was relocated and reinstalled in twin chambers at the front with a second facade added. -Database Manager
