2014-07-17 - Updated through online information from Rodney J. Weed. -- In 1996 Organ Service man, Chris Feiereisen of Manitowoc, WI, added to this organ a Peterson MIDI Control System, a 32 level memory upgrade for the combination action, a Transposer unit and an Allen organ sounds module. -Database Manager
2014-07-11 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Rodney J. Weed, based on information learned from a conversation with Paul Thelen. -- This church was closed and combined with five other Fond du Lac Catholic Churches to become the new Holy Family Catholic Community. In November 2007 the organ was moved to the new Holy Family Catholic Community Church which opened in December 2007. The move was supervised by Chris Feiereisen and John Meyer with more than twelve members of the Holy Family community doing the Physical moving. Only changes made at the time of the move were predominately cosmetic to make the divided Swell and Great Divisions appear as one unified organ case with facade pipes going across the entire front. -Database Manager
2014-07-14 - Updated through online information from Rodney J. Weed. -- As of July 10, 2014 This church built in 1909 is up for sale. It is still used on occasion by the school that is located next to it. The Church has not been used for regular parish worship since 2007 when the new facility dedicated in November 2007 began being used under the name of Holy Family Catholic Community. This organ was relocated to the Holy Family facility in 2007. -Database Manager
2014-07-15 - Updated through online information from Rodney J. Weed. -- When I visited the Church on July 10, 2014 it was up for sale but still owned by the Holy Family Community and occasionally used be the parish school located next door. The organ had been removed back in 2007 and relocated to the new Church facility for Holy Family opened in the Fall of 2007. Three of the stained glass windows had also been relocated to the new Holy Family facility. I went up to the choir loft (rear Gallery) where the organ had been located and the remaining carpet in the gallery completly outlined on the floor where the organ case and console had been located. Apparently when the organ was installed in 1957 there was only a wood floor in the gallery and carpeting was added at some later date and was not placed under the organ case or console. The outline is very clear. The building is much smaller in square footage and volume than the new location at Holy Family and part of the reason the organ now in Holy Family sounds weak. This church was built in 1909 and used as the main church for the congregation for 98 years. -Database Manager
