2014-07-11 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, using information found in Compiltion of organs in Washington State by Eugene M. Nye and William J. Bunch of Balcom and Vaughan Pipe Organs in Seattle, Washington. -- Virtually nothing is known of this organ other than it existed. It is recorded by Eugene M. Nye as having been tubular-pneumatic. It was likely originally built for the previous edifice at 3rd & Division (1901-1949), and then relocated to the 1951 building on the same site. It was installed in a chamber on the right side of the chancel. -Database Manager
