Notes

2014-07-18 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by Ryan J Boyle, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- Originally housed in St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Indianapolis. Removal, transport and storage accomplished under the direction of Kerner & Merchant in 1995. In 1996, Kerner & Merchant installed the organ in a modified form to fit the space available for the instrument. All original ranks were retained, however there was insufficient space available for two expression chambers and thus the ranks of the choir were spread across the Great & Swell divisions.<br>The original console was used until 2001 when it proved to be too unreliable. In 2001, Kerner & Merchant built a new console for the organ utilizing a Peterson MSP 1000 control system. The new "Holtkamp" style console features 32 memory levels, a +/- 7 half step transposer, and MIDI capabilities. -Database Manager
