2014-08-04 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in a vintage post card. -- The Peacham Congregational Church building was constructed in 1806. A postcard from 1907 shows a pipe organ at the front of the church. The church purchased Estey opus 3252 in 1957 and installed it inside the old organ's case. As of 2014 that case still exists. -Database Manager

2018-05-09 - On July 24,1870, Peacham native Oliver Johnson, who bad prospered in New York City, offered the church an Odell organ costing $1,300.00, an extravagant gift for the time. The church spent $7,300 renovating the building, which was enlarged to accommodate the gift. The dedication service took place on September 28, 1871. -Database Manager
