2014-08-06 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Andrew Henderson, using information found in "The Progress of Praise and Worship in Knox Church", Casavant Organ Dedication Program (February, 1949). -- The organ was replaced by a new instrument by Casavant (Op. 811) in 1919.<br> <br> -Database Manager

2019-04-20 - Updated by Andrew Henderson, naming this as the source of information: Dedication program: Wednesday, October 17, 1888 (contained in the Teresa Vanderburgh Scrapbook, St. Catharines Public Library). <br> Organ dedication program includes handwritten year \"1888\" next to the printed date: Wednesday, October 17. The dedication recital was played by the British organist, Fred Archer. The program reports that \"the key board extends to front of pulpit\" and that the instrument was \"blown by Berry\'s Improved Water Motor.\" -Database Manager
