2004-10-30 - OHS COnvention instrument, 1990. -Database Manager

2008-08-30 - Updated through information posted to PIPOEG-L by Larry Wheelock: -- The church closed its doors a week or so ago. They have occupied a small unimposing brick building in downtown Milwaukee since about 1902. -Database Manager

2008-10-29 - Updated through online information from Larry Wheelock. -- I was contacted today as an interested party by a Caldwell-Banker associate for some information concerning the eventual disposal of the instrument. He described as best he could that he understood that the instrument was "semi-dismantled" at some time in the past few years due to a water-leakage problem. He could not give details. I described, as best I could, the status of the instrument as historic and somewhat unusual for the mid-west and recommend that his first step should be an appraisal by a competent organbuilder. I gave him two names of persons known by me to be competent and, perhaps, interested. I can only hope he follows-up on that. -Database Manager

2009-05-19 - Updated through online information from Larry Wheelock. -- This instrument has been removed to storage as of 05.16.09 and is available for a new venue. It is owned by Stewart Dempsey (sdempsey1897@sbcglobal.net) and he wishes to make it available for restoration for accrued removal costs (minimal.) The instrument is in very good restorable condition. -Database Manager

2009-05-20 - Updated through online information from Larry Wheelock. -- I would like to update my own entry of 10-29-08 where I stated there was word of water damage. We discovered that the organ has NOT been water-damaged; there was water damage to the building's foundation which led to a partial-collapse of the floor under the Pedal Bourdon. This caused the pedal-chest to shift, snapping the Pedal trackers and disconnecting the wind-line, rendering the organ unplayable. Careful inspection during dismantling revealed absolutely no water-damage to the instrument. -Database Manager

The organ had been removed from the church many years ago, and is still for sale." -Database Manager
