2014-08-27 - Organ relocated without any change. Identified by James R. Stettner, using information from an unidentified web site. -- This information is from an online published history of the church by the North Carolina Synod of the ELCA. It is not unlikely that the original builder may himself have moved the instrument from the old log church to the new stone church. The online history further states, "When the stone church was completed in 1794 the organ was moved into the gallery facing the high wine stem pulpit, and was used for about 100 years. When it was dismantled, keys, pipes, and other parts which had been made into yardsticks were sold." -Database Manager
