The cornerstone was laid in September, and three months later, December 15, 1878, the building was finished and dedicated. ... A new pipe organ was purchased and dedicated in 1923, the church nave was renovated, the chancel rearranged, the choir loft was enclosed, and new furniture purchased. Following the recital a reception was tendered the pastors who were present during the celebration, arranged by the Ladies' Aid Society of the church, and a most delightful hour was spent. Many responded to short talks. The church was very beautifully decorated. St.Thomas R.C. Church]. A two-manual Mudler-Hunter organ was opened recently by Harry Sykes of Lancaster, Pa., in Zion Lutheran Church, Marietta, Pa. The Mudler-Hunter Company also is building a large two-manual and echo organ for Bethel Lutheran Church, Trenton, N.
