2017-05-04 - Updated by Paul A. Walrath, listing this web site as a source of information: http://www.andrewhenderson.net/elora-organ.html.

Organ was originally a Karn-Warren tracker (1899), built for St. Jude's Anglican Church in Oakville, Ontario. Casavant Frères rebuilt the organ in 1937, converting it to electro-pneumatic action, and making a new console and new windchests.

Instrument was relocated to St. John the Evangelist in 1968. Two new stops were added at that time.

Since relocation to St. John's, other modifications have been made. From Andrew Henderson's website:
"Since the initial installation the organ has been carefully and lovingly modified and expanded by the Dodingtons. Some of these projects include the installation of a new Swell 4' Flute (1971), the creation of two mutation stops on the Great from re-scaled and used pipework (1989), updating the console with Solid State combination action and two digital 32' Stops by the Walker Technical Co. (1997), and the addition of a new Casavant Mixture and Trumpet to the Great (2004)." -Database Manager
