Notes

2014-09-09 - Identified through information in Casavant documents, courtesy of Simon Couture and Denis Blaine. The tonal director was Stephen Stoot. -Database Manager

2020-04-09 - The congregation was a 1926 merger of First Congregational and Westminster Presbyterian Churches; Op. 1611 retained the case and most of the pipework from 1901 Casavant Op. 138; in 2007 the congregation moved to shared facilities with All Saints' Anglican Church and Op. 1611 was offered for sale. -Database Manager

2024-02-28 - This was a rebuild and enlargement of the existing organ from First Congregational Church. -Jim Stettner

2025-04-06 - Updated through online information from Julian Girard (March 31, 2025): Facebook post from Heather Bess MacIntosh says, "It is an unfortunate and painful story but what is left of our 1911 Cassavant et Frères 8 rank pipe organ is a pedalboard and pipes. The pedalboard and pipes can be made available to a church or community organization for the cost of removal. Depending on the stop, I can arrange shipping or even bring them myself. This was a very beloved instrument that has become an organ donor, pun intended, when the console was removed with a reciprocating saw." -Jim Stettner
