Notes

2014-09-14 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in vintage post card. -- A postcard commemorating the congregation's centennial in 1907 shows a pipe organ front center of the church. Minimal casework framees the polychromed facade pipes. The church's website indicates that the building was expanded to accommodate a new organ between 1886 and 1889. Entries in the OHS database indicate a Schantz organ was installed here in 1909. The congregation moved to a new facility in the middle of the 20th century. Fate of this instrument is unknown. -Database Manager
