2014-10-24 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by Jerry Orvold, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- This organ apparently replaced a 1946 Moller organ lost in the fire of 1961. The church built a new building in 1964. The present organ is made up of an older Wicks organ the company had taken in trade, and supplemented with new chests and pipework, bringing it to the current 30 ranks. The eye-line cherry wood console had originally controlled the Wicks studio organ of 59 ranks. By happy coincidence, the balcony woodwork was cherry wood. -Database Manager
