2017-11-24 - Updated by Steven Bartley, who maintains the organ.<br> The church building is octagonal in shape and was built in the 1960s or 70s. Virtually all horizontal surfaces are carpeted or cushioned, and the room has no resonance. The organ stands against the wall separating the sanctuary from the narthex, and consists of a facade, with oak wood trim, grille cloth and the bottom 12 pipes of the pedal Principal and Great Principal. The Great division is divided into enclosed and unenclosed speaking stops. The tonal effect reflects that of the 1970s and early 1980s. While the position of the pipes are ideal the small scaling, timid voicing and dead acoustics hamper the overall effect. -Database Manager
