Notes

2014-12-01 - An original installation. Identified by Bill, using information from an unidentified web site. -- -Database Manager

2019-02-07 - Updated through online information from David Bohn. -- The Barton was a 2-5 pit organ - the largest made by Barton. It consisted of four partial-compass ranks and one full-compass rank. The two manuals were also both only partial-compass. -Database Manager

2019-02-07 - Updated by George Walter Jenista, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Matt Schliesman. <br> <br>\"The organ was removed in 1987 when the theatre, then operating solely as a movie venue, was restored to its original splendor and reopened as a nonprofit performing arts center. I have only been around 8 years. All I know about the organ is that \"it was sold\" as part of the restoration in \'87. I also believe someone said it went to the Pacific Northwest, but I heard that some years ago and do not know the source.<br><br><br>The one person who would know the organ details passed away this summer.\"<br><br>Matthew Schliesman, Executive Director -Database Manager
