Notes

2014-12-02 - Aeolian 2/13 Op. 1406 was installed in the Chicago home of Gustav Swift, the meat-packing magnate, in 1917; when the home was demolished ca. 1945, the organ was given to and installed in the newly-enlarged gallery of Trinity Episcopal; in 1985, the parish purchased and stored pipes that came from an organ (possibly Moller) in Dixon, Illinois; in the Spring of 1989, lightning struck the church's steeple, resulting in fire and smoke damage to the nave and organ; the Wicks used pipework from the Aeolian and Dixon organs, as well as new pipework for the new organ. -Database Manager

2017-02-09 - Updated by Phil Spressart, who maintains the organ.<br>This organ, new in 1990, is made up of mostly used pipework on Wicks chests. Troy Scott and Madison Lindsey of Laurel, MS, voiced the organ after its installation. -Database Manager
