2014-12-02 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Bernie Soles II, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- The pipework is in its original installed location in a large room above the sacristy which contains a pipe chamber that houses the blower, rectifier and 4 ranks of pipework. The console used to also be located in this space but was moved to ground level in the sanctuary and is on a moveable platform. The organ speaks through a large wooden screen that goes from floor to ceiling in the sanctuary, there are tone openings in the grill work from floor to ceiling in room that houses the pipe chamber (Swell Box). The entire organ is under expression. Manual Compass 61 Notes Pedal Compass 32 Notes Console is of Stop-Tab design, there is no combination action or memory of any type. All organ registration is done via a single row of stop-tabs above the swell manual.
