2015-01-11 - This entry describes a relocated and rebuilt pipe organ. Identified by Andrew A. Clark, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- According to the Wigton Pipe Organ Company Website, The pipe organ (Hinners & Albertsen opus 1882, 1915) was located in a church in Midland Michigan and was missing its case when it became available. At the same time this organ became available, the organless case of Hinners & Albertsen opus 2329 of 1917 which was located in Plymouth Michigan also became available. The organ from Midland Michigan and the case from Plymouth Michigan were fitted together and installed in the rear gallery chamber space beneath the bell tower at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Cedar Michigan. -Database Manager
