2015-04-16 - Updated through online information from Tom Scheck. -- The following is from the jacket of the LP recording, A ROGER NYQUIST ORGAN RECITAL: <br>"The organ in Trinity Episcopal Church, Santa Barbara, California, is the work of Abbott and Sieker, Los Angeles organbuilders. The four manual instrument of 48 ranks incorporates some pipes from the previous organ with a great deal of new pipework to bring the tonal design into line with present day practice. Attempt has been made to provide an instrument on which music of all periods can be played, and which will fulfill the varying requirements of the church service. Installation was completed in the fall of 1965." -Database Manager
