Notes

2015-05-01 - Opened in 1920 as the 1400-seat Astor Theatre, owned by Finkelstein & Ruben. After only seven years the theatre was shuttered. It was then rebuilt in a Moorish-Oriental style by architect Thomas Farr Ellerbee, and reopened in late-1928 as the Riviera Theatre. In 1976 the theatre was closed and ultimately razed. -Database Manager
