Conyers, using information found in Newspaper article. -- "...the church's unique pipe organ, a century-old tracker action organ originally built in the Civil War era by the Hinners Organ Company of Pekin, Illinois....The tracker action pipe organ was moved to Winchester from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Greenville, Ohio, after being rebuilt by the Brant Organ Company of Columbus, Ohio. The pipes are original." "Robert S. Byrd, well-known organist in Richmond, [Indiana] and organ instructor at Earlham College...has made several appearances at Our Savior Lutheran Church, including playing the dedication recital when the organ was installed at its present location in 1968."
