2020-09-03 - In 1960, following the construction of the Saint-Jean-Eudes cathedral in Hauterive , it again became a simple parish church and took its name of Sainte-Amélie; in 2010, when the church was permanently closed for worship, it was acquired by the Corporation of the Sainte-Amélie Church, which is dedicated to the preservation of the church. On November 30, 2017, the church was classified as a heritage building by the Ministry of Culture and Communications. -Jeff Scofield
