2019-01-20 - The case originally spread across the rear of the gallery, blocking the window; in 1951, the case was divided to each side of the window; the organ was restored by Casavant after a fire in the church in January 1927; Between 1960 and 1969, the reeds in the manual divisions were removed to make room for mutations. In 1979, Louis-Auguste Guillemette revoiced of the instrument, at the cost of $2,700. In 1983 the Marcel Bertrand organ firm completely revoiced the instrument and reintroduced two reed stops as well as a 3-rank Fourniture in the manual divisions. -Database Manager
