Notes

2015-08-23 - In January 1899, the church and organ were destroyed by fire due to a furnace malfunction. -Database Manager

2023-11-09 - According to the present (Nov. 2023) church website,* "The organ at Saint Luke dates back to the dedication of the first church in 1884. The instrument was simple but adequate to support the needs of the growing congregation.* *During the record cold of January 1899, the furnace malfunctioned and fire swept through the building, destroying the organ along with the rest of the sanctuary. The organ was rebuilt as arrangements were made for a suitable replacement."* -Jim Stettner
