2015-09-01 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Michael Williamson, based on personal knowledge of the organ.<br><br>Organ utilized, as its original core, an Aeolian residence organ. Some of the original windchests were retained, and converted to electro-mechanical action. New Great and Positive chest were also constructed.<br><br>Klann console (new as to the 1969 organ) was replaced with a new console from Galanti, C. 2005. -Database Manager
2016-01-01 - Updated through online information from Philip Wilson. <br>Grace Lutheran has closed and the building will be demolished. This organ was given in 2015 as a gift to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 909 N. La Cumbre Rd., Santa Barbara, CA 93110. TELC has accepted the pipes and has them in storage with the intent of constructing a new organ in 2016-2017. Further news will be added as the project develops. -Database Manager
2017-06-08 - Updated by Philip Wilson, who has heard or played the organ. <br> <br>Grace Lutheran is now demolished (Spring 2017). The Galanti console and electronics became private property. All the pipes from this organ are owned by Trinity Evangelical Lutheran as described above, the remainder of the instrument was demolished with the building.<br>As of this writing there is insufficient congregational support at Trinity to use the pipes in a new instrument as planned. The pipes will likely become the property of Hupalo & Repasky Organs of San Leandro, CA. -Database Manager
