2015-09-01 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Barnes, who had retired to Tucson, was about to move back to his native Chicago and was looking for a buyer for his home organ. The organ was purchased from Dr. Barnes and dedicated on January 25, 1976. Parishioner, Bill Dresher oversaw the installation of the organ.<br><br>The organ designed by Dr. Barnes was a combination electronic/pipe organ. Rodgers Organ Company supplied the keyboard and electronic stops while the Teller[s] Organ Company provided the wind box [sic] and pipes.
