2022-11-15 - From the NYC AGO NYC Organ Project, Steve Lawson: All Saints Episcopal Church was one of the earliest houses of worship in Bayside, having been established in 1862 as All Saints Mission. In 1892, the mission became All Saints Church, and the present building was constructed. The church is noted for its stained glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany; these windows were executed in the Corona, Queens studio that was in operation from 1892 to 1924. In 1923, Hillgreen, Lane & Co., rebuilt, enlarged, and electrified the previous Barckhoff organ. The organ is installed in chambers behind pipe facades on either side of the chancel. Replaced by or combined with a 3-manual Rodgers. -Jeff Scofield
