2017-08-08 - According to the purchase agreement (July 1938), Casavant was to install the organ by December 18, 1938 (only five months later) at a cost of $16,000. Casavant reused almost all of the 1909 Warren pipework on new windchests; compasses were expanded to 68 notes (manuals) and 32 notes (pedal). The Wadsworth facade was moved forward by two feet to accommodate the enlarged instrument. -Database Manager
