2018-06-04 - According to http://musiqueorguequebec.ca/orgues/quebec/osjoseph.html , "an enlargement was executed in the 1950s by organbuilder Odilon Jacques. He added a third enclosed manual division and additional stops in the pedal division whose pipework was visible on either side of the organcase. A restoration was carried out by Caron Gagnon Baumgarten, in 1989. In 2008, organbuilder Alain Baumgarten cleaned the instrument and carried out various adjustments. He also revised the stoplist and enlarged both the instrument and the organcase. Now, all pipework is included inside the organcase, giving a more homogeneous sound structure and a more harmonious visual look. The facade was enlarged and the additional pipework was painted according to the Anglo-Saxon tradition which was used in instruments built by Casavant at the time the original crypt organ was built." -Database Manager
