2015-12-15 - The contract was announced in the March 1951 issue of THE DIAPASON; however it is not known if the organ was ever installed; 3/39 Reuter Op. 1849 was installed in 1974. -Database Manager
2021-09-16 - There was a Kilgen at First Baptist, but it appears to be a much older organ. Perhaps the 1951 Kilgen was a rebuild and installation of an existing older Kilgen. The organ does not appear on the Kilgen opus list. -Jim Stettner
