Notes

2016-01-01 - Identified by Richard Schneider, based on personal knowledge of the organ. This instrument was an assemblage of parts that was originally installed in Mr. Beguelin's basement. The organ was installed in this location in 1977. The organ was water damaged due to a roof leak. It is no longer needed by the High School due to a change in course curriculum making pipe organs no longer a part of the course requirements, so it is being parted out. -Database Manager

2016-01-26 - Additional information from Richard Schneider: the organ was purchased for $35,000 from Mr. Beguelin to pay for the cost he had put into it and the expense of moving it to Concordia. The organ dedication service was held on January 8, 1978, with Dr. Theodore Beck at the console. -Database Manager

2016-06-23 - Updated through online information from Richard Schneider. <br>This is an article regarding the construction of this instrument. Apparently, it originally started out in Clifford Begulin's home basement and then was gifted and installed by him to SPLHS in Concordia, MO in 1978. -Database Manager
