2016-01-28 - "This four-rank unified organ was designed and installed by members of the small congregation, with assistance from several firms. The original three-rank instrument was built for a suburban Chicago home by the Wicks Company, and the 97-note gedeckt rank was revoiced to to classical standards with mild chiff under the direction of the Berghause company before acquisition by the church. The Schneider firm built an 85-note principal rank on separate chests and rewired the console for the addition. Local volunteers built a red oak case under the exposed pipework. Tonal finishing and final voicing were accomplished by the Levsen Organ Company." (The American Organist, December 1990) -Database Manager
