2016-02-02 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in a vintage postcard.

A vintage postcard shows a 2 manual organ standing at the front left in a chamber. The polychrome facade and attached console are visible, the rest of the organ stands in a chamber with a semi-circular arched opening facing the congregation. The 1891 church building was gutted by fire in January 1925, leaving only the exterior walls. The organ was destroyed along with the entire interior.

The congregation reused the existing stone walls for their new sanctuary and a Moller organ was installed in 1926. The building was torn down around 2010. -Database Manager
