2016-02-05 - The Clough & Warren organ, purchased in the 1880s, was damaged beyond repair in a fire in 1914. The fire was caused by the explosion of an acetylene light plant that was installed in the church in the 1880s. The fire caused extensive damage in the church, and destroyed many books and furniture. Following the fire, a new "Vocalion was installed and used until the pipe organ from A.J. Schantz Sons & Co., of Orrville, Ohio, was installed in 1918. -Database Manager
