2005-11-16 - Updated through on-line information from George Edwarf Lyons. -- The building is Cruciform and seats 150. The organ is sited in the front of the South Transept. The organ had an electric blower added in 1954. Sometime while I was away from Cynthiana (1957-1990) the 4' Fugara was changed to a 2' Fugara (with top octave, so I assume it was done by Miller Organ Co of Louisville, who still service the organ). These are the only changes. We are keeping the Pilcher in its present location. A new organ by Jaeckel will be at an angle in the South-West corner of the Nave, near the tower/narthex. -- pull-down pedal -Database Manager
