2023-09-12 - The current church does not use the word "First" in their title. It is "United Methodist Church, Pittston". Also, the church says the organ was built in 1903 and installed in 1904. The instrument has played each week since then without fail. Here is the statement from the church: Our 1903 C. E. Morey pipe organ is also a historical instrument. Our Pipe Organ was installed in our church and played for the first time on Oct. 30, 1904. -Dr. James Tartella
