2016-07-26 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner.
I made an inquiry to the archivist at the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. An email reply from Diane Wells provides the following,

"With regard to your inquiry re: Church of the Holy Communion in Tacoma, I can tell you that the church was closed in 1976 and shortly thereafter it was deeded to the Hilltop Community Day Care Center which had previously been leasing space at the church. The church building and parish hall have subsequently been demolished.

I cannot give you the exact date this took place – but believe it was quite a few years after the church was closed and deeded to the day care center. Before demolition, at least some of the stained glass windows and furnishings were salvaged and sold. With regard to the organ, I have a note that says: 'Pipe Organ – 4 rank, 1929 Kimball – Voiced for high wind pressure, as was the more ‘theatre organ- type style of the day. Resale or salvage value would be minimal as considerable repair and modification would be required.' This leads me to suppose that the organ was not salvaged.

Here-s what I know about the organ. It-s taken from a brief history of the church written in 1976 when the church was closed. '…the original pipe organ of the Church of the Holy Communion was acquired and installed in 1929.

In 1962, under the direction of David Alan Eagleson, PhD., Organist-Choirmaster, the pipe organ was enlarged by the addition of a electronic organ. A new console of three manuals and the organ was brought up to strength and quality of a major instrument, suitable for great liturgical offerings worthy of the principle works in the liturgy for organ, and a challenge to musicians of the highest training and competence.

The dedication recital was played on Sunday, March 28, 1965 by Peter Hallock, Organist-Choirmaster of St. Mark-s Cathedral, Seattle. Dr. D. Alan Eagleson served as Organist and Choir Director from 1962-1968.'" -Database Manager
