Notes

2021-01-05 - This was the relocation of the Garden Street Methodist Episcopal Church organ to the new building of the merged congregations. The organ was renovated by the Andover Organ Co. in 197 as their job R-130. -Jim Stettner

2024-06-25 - Visited June 23, 2024. The organ switches on, but is unplayable because the action has "dropped," so any stop drawn induces tone cluster ciphers. The organ is intact here, dirty and unused. -Andrew Scanlon

NOTES
This organ was originally built for Garden Street Methodist Church in Lawrence,
and came to this building in 1911 when Garden Street and First Methodist merged
to form Central Methodist at a new location – the NE corner of Haverhill &
Lawrence streets. The Great 2' Super Octave is incorrectly engraved as being at
8' pitch.
