Notes

2016-07-26 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in a vintage postcard.

A vintage postcard circa 1910 shows a substantial organ front and center. On line sources indicate this building was constructed in 1902 and burned to the ground in 1951. The congregation rebuilt on the same site and still occupy their 1954 building. The First Congregational Church is now known as United Church of Christ in Osage. -Database Manager

2022-11-25 - On the reverse of a similar post card found online, an unidentified writer gives just three words "a $3000 organ." -Zenas Savage
