2016-08-28 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in a vintage postcard.

A postcard mailed in 1910 shows the organ standing front left. The case is free standing in and alcove. The case itself is classical in design, the center arch and flanking flats reminiscent of a Palladian window. The case design and woodwork details are exceptionally well executed, indicating an organ builder of significant talent of the middle 19th century. The case is painted white and the pipes appear to either be painted gray or are naturally finished metal. The church was built in the 1840s and survives as of 2016. Fate of the organ is unknown. -Database Manager
